I think you are missing an opportunity to highlight the way NYTimes went live with liked data; specifically, that they created and fostered a community, which allowed them to react to feedback very quickly and to great effect early after they when live.
I’m referring to NYTimes’ initial overly enthusiastic copyright claims over facts; through engagement with their community, they quickly acknowledged and corrected their error.
MY POINT is that other providers must understand that fostering community around their data will be hugely important, adding value and easing adoption.

Good job highlighting their use of URIs; it appears to be a key contributor to their design and is a great exemplar.
